help my homeless dad

Hey friends and family:

I have a friend I went through an internship with at the International House of Prayer named Arin Gilbert who has family in Joplin, MO.  His dad's name is Quincy, and his house was completely destroyed in the recent tornado.  

Often when disaster like this hits there's various ways to give or help but you don't always know how much of the funds are ending up with those who need it or what the values are of the organizations you could donate to.

"sorry i'm late"

Scene begins with two young women doing their best to maneuver through chaos that is downtown San Fran. They are looking at street signs and hoping for some direction from the transit maps.  While struggling to understand the layout of the city one of the girls mutter, "Jesus, we are wandering with our mouths hanging wide like lost tourists, I'm waiting for You to send an angel or messenger."
Not more than 5 minutes later a disheveled man with a scab over his left eye approaches the pair saying "Sorry I'm late" and explains the transit map the two were staring at.  He directs their steps kindly, acting as if it were his duty and sends them on their way saying he's 'got to be leaving this area shortly and won't be around much longer.'
As the ladies stand on their trolley to their destination they discuss their encounter with the stranger.  "Either he's a funny guy or he's the angel we asked for. But why would he say that phrase if he was just a man? 'Sorry I'm late' is a strange way to begin a conversation with people you don't know. He seemed to be gone immediately after pointing us in the right direction!"

They decide to return there tomorrow to see if 'Tony' is at that intersection/map area again tomorrow. Either way, it seems to be a quickly answered prayer!
