My hair will be brown
my eyes are already blue.
I'm a dream from my Creator's heart
put in this deep place within you.
Let me live this life He's planned for me
though you can't see my frame right now.
My Creator made me in His image but
this story could be cut short oh please don't allow.
I'm crying out to you:
Life interrupted is not my destiny
if you choose to let me go
Jesus and I will still love you Mommy.
Though I've never seen your face
I know you are beautiful
Grandma's choice let you live
and in Jesus you can have Life to the full.
Mommy Mommy I'm a life interrupted
I never saw the light of day.
Although my life was not very long,
before your choice I wanted to say
"You're forgiven and in Jesus' love
someday I hope to meet you and sing to you my song:
Life interrupted was not my destiny
though you chose to let me go
Jesus and I still love you Mommy"

Blessings to you, who are part of a tapestry of likeminded wholehearted lovers of Love Himself, Lord Jesus Christ!!
This is my update on the last leg of my internship with Campus America for those of you who have been following this season of my life by joining me in prayer and/or financial support. I can feel your prayer covering as I pursue the Lord Jesus Christ in this season in Kansas City.
I will have been with Campus America (http://www.campusamerica.o rg) for 3 months and feel a release from the internship but want to continue in relation with the 24-7 Prayer, the Boiler Room, and Campus America in some fashion. I think the Lord will be defining that for me as He sheds His light on how He would have me spend my time.
I feel so grateful for the nanny job He has provided for me. The family is amazing, parents and children alike are such blessings to my life and I am learning to "train up a child in the way he should go..." Callie is two and a half and her favorite word is "No" even when she really means "Yes." Sara is 17 months and is walking, teething and forming words. Both are incredibly beautiful. Matt spends time in study, just out of seminary and is such a strong yet gentle guy in word and action, I see the Father in how he fathers. Patience is the very essence of her name, with two children so close in age I marvel at her ability to manage attention given to both children adequately as well as being the person supporting the family financially.
Please join me as I pray for them to come to know the Holy Spirit intimately.
A friend from the Luke18Project internship I was a part of this summer (http://www.luke18project.c om) just moved here from Florida and we are looking for a place to live by February. I feel it would be wise with time and money to move closer to my job and IHOP since most of my time is spent there and the drive seems potentially wasteful in both gas and time if I am continuing to feel the Lord directing my time to be spent so far from where I live currently.
Please pray that the Lord provides a place to live with likeminded believers where we can spur each other on toward taking hold of that for which Christ has taken hold of us in a true Acts 2:42 community.
Onething 08 was a time where the Lord awakened my heart out of complacency that I didn't even know was there. He confirmed His desire for me to walk in wholeheartedness in the place of prayer and fasting and Jesus has pulled me into a deeper longing to know the Godman who is coming to judge, rule and reign even more intimately.

When I pray for the believers and unbelievers in Northwest Iowa, God gives such massive hope to my spirit. He also has confirmed the greater things that are still to come to Sioux County through dreams and visions. I'd love to share with anyone interested in those details, feel free to contact me about them: chandler.vandyke@live.com or 712.230.0129
I would love to hear your prayer requests at anytime, no matter what they are: please don't hesitate to call or text or email with ways to lift you or family coworkers friends up in prayer!
"For this reason, because I have heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love toward all the saints, I do not cease to give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers, that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him, having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and what is the immeasurable greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to the working of his great might that he worked in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and above every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come." fill it
i have looked to fill it with food, coffee too:but somehow it never satisfies and i end up with extra pounds
...
i have looked to fill it with a church service: but somehow the routine is the focus and i leave with a deeper desire to be filled
...
i have looked to fill it with a party where everyone knows my name: but i still feel lonely and unknown in that crowded place
...
i have looked to fill it with superficial talk: never scratched the surface of the need
...
i have looked to fill it with an education: but have realized it doesn't lead to what i'm looking for
...

...
i have looked to fill it with a party where everyone knows my name: but i still feel lonely and unknown in that crowded place
...
i have looked to fill it with superficial talk: never scratched the surface of the need
...
i have looked to fill it with an education: but have realized it doesn't lead to what i'm looking for
...
i once tried to fill it as a ballet dancer, a volleyball player, a band member the desire to be filled grew stronger as i continued to feel like a bottomless pit
...
i have looked to fill it with alcohol but: i've only ended up with a hang over and choices i felt guilty i made
...
i have looked to fill it with my close ties with my family or super close friends: but even they disappoint me at times
...
i have looked to fill it with a new haircut, new clothes, or a new venue: none have lasting fullness
...
i have tried to fill it with doing nice things for people, maybe that will make my life feel fulfilled:even that ends up with emptiness
...
i tried filling it by the addiction route, from cigarettes to chewing: i never could say i felt filled by it
...
i have tried to fill it with a job, with a hobby, with music: all seem to be a leaky well that runs dry
...
i have looked to fill it in an longterm relationship or even a fling or flirty face:i only end up more empty
...
some try to fill it by not eating at all or by purging after a binge: it doesn't fill but leaves us hungry
...
i have been to a foreign country, i've been home, i've moved frequently and tried plenty of places:the emptiness follows like a plague
...
some cut or mutilate in order to fill it, but it only leaves scars
...
i've even tried being part of busy ministries with really good intentions: but even that leaves me hungry for something of more value, more real
...
i've sometimes thought that if i could only have that cookie-cutter husband, kids, house with a pickett fence that THEN i'd feel a deeper sense of this "filled" thing i'm hungry for: pretty sure there's tons of people in the world who walk into depression when they place all their hope in a marriage or having children
...
i could blame it on
my family,
my public school counselors - maybe they failed to direct me,
my religious upbringing,
the location i grew up in,
someone who abused me as a child,
possibly employers....
hmmm what else is there?
...
am i alone in this?
or is it the way we were created?
were we created to constantly feel hungry for something of substance?
i'm starting to think we have been.
maybe there's actually more to this "wanting to be filled."
you know what i am talking about, even if you can't admit it.
you don't have to tell me, but i'm positive we've all
felt it at some point.
Maybe it's in our DNA.
Is the story always going to lead down the drain?
I wrote this today as I listened to people singing a old song:
my heart and flesh CRY OUT
for the
LIVING GOD
i long to be with You
and although You live in me
i somehow miss You still...
...even to fainting, more than water (completely essential to living)
i want to know You're here with me, to feel Your presence to know Your fullness
abiding in me, and i in You
i won't run to the other lovers...those things that do not satisfy
i will wait for You, only for You, my Creator who delights in me
the ONE reason i was created was to truly deeply KNOW Your love, only You can satisfy.
HE fills it...He gave me life, and fulfills it.
it's starting to sink in.
we were created for our Creator, who delights in us.
we were made so we could talk with Him, and to hear Him speak.
Here's the greatest love story: the God who came as a man named Jesus once already to earth to give us unbroken union with Him through His sacrifice on the cross is coming again to make this earth a place of perfect relation with the ones who have lived a life of His love, pursuing His fullness...the people who have left the things that don't fill us in order to truly KNOW Him.
He's coming back, that's what we can live for...
that promise is what will "FILL IT."
