SA Update (Everyone's here!)
Hello everyone!
If you're just getting this, sorry. Some email addresses have been kicking back and internet access is limited so it's been difficult to get everything in order. I think I have everyone now
We made it! We're here! Team 2 just arrived. Team 1's been here for a little while. Kirk's done two teachings so far, the people here are fantastic and kind, humble and the team is kind of in agreement they are just hungry for more. So, we're doing our best! There is a drought going on, the worst in 50 years, and we're contending right now for breakthrough in this place, that the walls would be thrown down spiritually and naturally. One of the team members had a dream where there were people standing on a wall, and every time someone spoke the word Jesus, a rock was thrown down to the ground, until the stones were all on the ground like a walkway almost. So we're praying that the walls come tumbling down. I'll leave you all with that, and give you guys an update when we get to Johannesburg.
IT'S SO EXCITING HAVING EVERYONE HERE!!!!
God Bless!

SA Update
HELLO EVERYONE!
Good news and not quite good news
Sorry for the rushed email from my sister the other day, we were running to catch a flight.
Team 1 is officially in Jeffery's Bay!
That's Chandler, Matthew, Jenn, Kirk, Laura, Theresa, Rachel, and Liz.
Team 2 is (as of the last update) in the air. They will arrive in Johannesburg late tomorrow night (SA time) Unfortunately they won't be able to get on a Port Elizabeth flight until Saturday, so at this point in time it looks like they will be here early Saturday. Unfortunately I don't have the whole list but basically if they aren't listed as being here with group 1, they are on a flight right now! We are praying for them to be able to get a faster flight to Port Elizabeth, so if you want to pray into that we would appreciate it. They should get some rest time on Friday at Johannesburg though, so just pray strength to them.
I will email to let you all know when they arrive, and then I'll stop hitting your inbox for a few days until we head back to Port Elizabeth. God is already doing amazing things on our trip, and I'm looking forward to sending you guys some highlights once the whole crew gets here.
Blessings,
Matthew

South Africa Update- From Matt Adkins
If you're receiving this email someone specifically asked me to
include you on our list. So, if you want out, just let me know and
I'll take you off. This is just a quick update to let you know that
you're going to be receiving emails from me periodically throughout
the trip, with three objectives in mind: Let you know that we're all
okay and have reached our planned destinations, send back any prayer
requests we might have for you all, and give you updates on how the
trip is going!
Sorry for the rushed message,
Situation is that group 2, 15 people out of dc, are stuck on the
runway ATM because of snow. We need them to get out asap so that they
catch their flight to port Elizabeth in time. Group 1 is leaving right
now! Be praying for group 2!!!
God bless you all!
Matthew Adkins

lyrics
And you, beneath life's crushing load,
Whose forms are bending low
Who toil along the climbing way
With painful steps and slow
Look now! for glad and golden hours
Come swiftly on the wing
O rest beside the weary road
And hear the angels sing.
For lo! the days are hastening on,
By prophets seen of old,
When, with the ever-circling years,
Shall come the Age of God
When the New Heaven and Earth shall own
The Prince of Peace, their King
And the whole world give back the song,
Which now the angels sing.

HUG South Africa
Let each one [give] as he has made up his own mind and purposed in his heart, not reluctantly or sorrowfully or under compulsion, for God loves (He takes pleasure in, prizes above other things, and is unwilling to abandon or to do without) a cheerful (joyous, "prompt to do it") giver [whose heart is in his giving]. 2 Corinthians 9:7
Here you see pictured my teammates and myself praying for God to continue to provide all our needs and prepare us for this trip. More info about the trip here.
There's a team of about 20 people going with 7thunders (Kirk Bennett) and all of us are asking the Lord to provide for our airfare and extra expenses for the trip.
You can give South Africa a "hug" from Jesus' heart through our team's ministry.
I recommend you to prayerfully consider how the Lord might have you sow into these people's lives as they gather funds for this trip:
Kasey Seidler
Theresa Babbit
With your response to God stirring your hearts, the Lord is providing for the trip to South Africa in miraculous ways. I was able to purchase my plane ticket and the overflow from partnership contributions has gone toward others on the team that still have to purchase a plane ticket.
THANK YOU LORD!
Our team leader, Kirk Bennett, encourages us to have $200‐500 flex cash along on the trip for emergencies, recreation, or giving to the poor.

If the Lord stirs your heart to sow into Jesus' ministry through my life on South Africa trip, please click here. Any funds you give over and above my goal for flex cash, I will give as partnership contributions to others who are still looking to meet their financial goals for the trip.
May you reap an abundant inheritance in South Africa as you sow as the Lord leads.
Praise God for every good and perfect gift that comes from Him.
